The Scene DMV hooked up with VeVe and Tha Rebels to create a video for the song ‘SiStars’.

Violet of VeVe and Tha Rebels wrote ‘SiStars’ in the fall of 2014. Time and time again she saw women leading the movement against police brutality. After watching a video of a young woman leading a prayer at a protest, ‘SiStars’ was written in to give hope and uplift those that were on the front lines. ‘I am not someone who protests in the streets, my music is my protest, but I love and appreciate the SiStars who are willing to be out there fighting for change.’

Tha Rebels wanted this video to pay homage to the warrior women past and present.
